Cluttering

Cluttering is a fluency pattern that involves a rapid or erratic speaking rate, excessive dysfluencies, poor syntax (grammar), making it difficult for listeners to understand. Treatment approaches including reducing rate of speech, improving the rhythm of speech, and increasing awareness of any other unhelpful qualities of one's speech. Cluttering is frequently seen in adults with ADHD, and can also occur in adults without the disorder.
